I’m so proud of the Saints and so happy for the city of New Orleans! It was reported in the Times-Picayune that an estimated 800,000 people turned out to see the Saints Super Bowl parade. For a city of not even a quarter of a million residents, that is huge! Glad to have been home for this historic season and epic victory. I know we will be feeling the positive effects of this win for quite some time!

I love a good challenge. And despite the actual challenge being for the designers from Apartment Therapy, Bloomingdale’s and Elle Decor, it was certainly one for me too! Photographing the windows at Bloomingdale’s is not the easiest thing because of the lights from across the street and traffic. Especially when it is January and you have a very tight deadline the next morning! I never would have guessed I’d have to chase off a bunch of sidewalk and window washers threatening to obscure my view with water beads. Or to have to tear open my hand warmer package with my teeth to keep my fingers from freezing. See the results here http://bigwindowchallenge.apartmenttherapy.com.
