I just LOVE networking with fellow wedding vendors. It is great to meet other people who love what they do as much as I do. WeDo is a curated group of New York wedding vendors who get together monthly for some networking and yes, a bit of drinking! I photographed the April event at the Brooklyn Winery. The already beautiful space was made even prettier by Rock Paper Scissors. We were serenaded by the Baby Soda Jazz Band of Lucy Music. Check out more pics on the WeDo blog.

Me with Fleur of The Artful Bachelorette. Check out her cool website! They host art parties for bachelorettes with nude male models. :) Thanks for taking our pic Karen Zieff!

Just an early reminder, holiday print orders will be due by 12/1 to guarantee delivery in time. Our baby is due on 12/7 so I want to make sure I’ll have time to fulfill orders no matter when he or she decides to come! After that date, please email to see what the estimate turn around time will be. Thanks!!

It was such a pleasure working with Annalise and Scott for their wedding and also their beautiful album! They chose the new English linen, Chloe bow and a matching presentation box.
The album process takes a few months, so if you are interested in having one for the holidays, we need to get moving! The order deadline is 9/12. Please email me to get started. And for those interested, the print deadline for the holidays is December 1. I’ve also got some exciting news about prints and some new products I’ll be offering for the holidays, so stay tuned!

See more of this gorgeous album here. And where you are there, please “like” Kristy May Photography!

I truly had a blast photographing Alex and Joel’s wedding at the Board of Trade earlier this month. I just loved their style! Everyone got ready at the St. James Hotel, a few doors down from the Board of Trade. Thunderstorms forced the ceremony under the entrance way, but they didn’t damped the celebration one bit. The band, Burgundy, got all the ladies on stage for a rendition of Proud Mary – including the bride’s mother. Seeing all of them singing away with the men watching from the dance floor and was my favorite moment of the night. I don’t always get a chance to sample the cake, but Alex’s cake from The Royal Cakery smelled so good, and each layer was different, so ultra tempting. The little keylime piece I had amazing! I wish I had a chance to try to red velvet and the almond layer too.

Came across this scene while shooting for a Christmas present in the Bywater section of New Orleans. Maybe there is a future for my Thresholds series in New Orleans?
